Imported the damn thing in order to play it, and like KotOR 1, this game is like crack, having the need to eat is an obstacle here. And as the title says, i'm having trouble getting a lightsaber, but i'm just a bit too slow i guess.
***NO SPOILERS, FEEL FREE TO READ***
My first impressions(playing as ls) are:
- Not one single bug yet encountered.
- The dialogue, especially by Kreia, is deeper than KotOR 1 and there's more dialogue options all together.
- The bad guys in this game makes Malak look and seem like a boy scout.
- The whole setting dark, even the music dark in areas where you think that you should be safe.
- T3 has a some character this time.
- Atton is pretty funny.
- Kreia is borderline irritating, not by being stupid, but by her attitude.
- Handmaiden is the best warrior in my party.
- Bao-Dur strangely silent.
- Atris doesn't like me.
- There's a whole lot more of items and upgrades.
- Telos is pretty big.
- People claiming TSL of not having the "Star Wars"-feel are nutty.
- Didn't have many myself

Is there the possiblity that LucasArts removed funding from the K2 project therefore meaning Obsidian would be working for nothing?
perhaps LucasArts simply said to Obsidian, get the Job done by X-mas 2004 and you will get paid...
Obsidian may of replied, do you want there to be any X-Box Live downloadable content?
And just maybe LucasArt's replied no?
Obsidian have a solid record and they are certainly not known for negligence or shoddy work.
ive been in this forum for a long time and the inside people we have met are lovely chaps and i really think they take their work seriously!
X-Box Live content would cost money to impliment, therefore i believe that LucasArts merely wanted preliminary Gross profit to sales revenue ratio's and didnt want any extra cost...

True, age difference doesn't really mean much these days. 10 years really isn't that big of a difference anways. My grandparents were 22 years apart. Now that I would consider a bid deal. And, doesn't the force effect how you age anyways. I mean Yoda was 900 years old, and who knows how long Obi Wan would have lived if he hadn't been killed by Vader. Palpatine looked pretty ancient to me too.
Palpatine is around 150 years old
Yoda's species naturally lives for tens of generations...

Well Kotor1 was Xbox Live enabled, meaning that they could add content at a later time. Kotor2 isnt Xbox Live enabled so it won't be possible to add content at a later time.

Why have K2 Xbox live enabled? I'm sure the devs have better things to do than to add new content and provide continous support to their game. Thats just asking too much. Besides, there are other games/projects to move onto. Who has time to linger in the past and code stuff for K2? I mean, lets just take the cash generated from the basic game and run!!

Yes i know... personally if i believed it was as bad as its hype then i would never get another Obsidian game... however i must try it out for myself in february...

He is refering that, during KOTOR I, there were two alusions to a new Mandalore existing after the Mandalorian Wars. One was the last memory of HK-47, of being defeated by Mandalore, and as HK was supposed to have been build after the Mandalorian Wars, it is a new one.
Second ones are the datapads on Kashyyk. The Mandalorians that are using the cloaking devices and attacking unarmed opponents have datapads saying Mandalore ordered them to test these weapons.
The beginning of Revan and Malak's conquest of the galaxy begun with the mandalorians.
Hk-47 was made by Revan to destroy key Mandalorian targets in the war.
