  1. The following image is of the location outside of Durgan's Battery. The open snow gap, in the latest version, will give you a CANNOT ENTER ICON if you attempt at any time, to click within the GAP.

You can circumvent this issue by clicking BEYOND the gap.

At first I thought it was blocked, but with the open gap, it is misleading as to exactly what is blocking the way.

  2. I'd like a whole new story, new location, new protagonist with a back drop of the history from events in Pillars of Eternity mentioned in lore and by NPCs during conversations.

If one had a final save and completion of Pillars of Eternity, perhaps PoE2 would read that file and grab the names of the party that completed the Hollowborn story line, and incorporate their names into history books, and mentioned in conversations.

There's a whole wealth of a world yet to explore, so I too, would be very excited about the next part of the series and the adventures that await!

  3. Yes, it is annoying that it kills the ability to interact with the world.

TABing it's an issue, as I do enjoy mouse searching if in full HUD display, and if I miss something, *shrugs*, I miss something.

But not being able to AT or enter buildings and the like while in full HUD display, does defeat full HUD display useage.

And don't tell me it's for making nice screen shots either.

  4. Hello thothor,

The issue you are experiencing is due to having a 32 bit OS. Please refer to this link and scroll down to the part about 32 bit OS.

    "For 32-Bit Machines

    • There are reports of reporting crashing when transitioning on 32-bit machines.  We are aware of the issue and attempting to fix it.  This issue did come up on Wasteland 2, which is another Unity project, and a workaround was discovered by their fans: here

You can change your system settings on your computer to increase RAM used by a single application.  However, there are inherent risks involved when changing settings involving your operating system and any attempts to change your system settings will be at your own risk.  Obsidian is not liable for any issues that might occur with those settings."
  5. What has the Apple Team had to say over on the Apple Forum regarding OSX El Capitain not being compatible?

There should be just as many, if not more, Technical Support threads regarding this issue than there is here.

We'll work together on this issue @Johnny925. You let us know what Apple had to say, and we'll keep you updated with Obsidian.

Thus far, the latest from Obsidian development is the following,

"Hey, everyone. We have done more investigation. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like something that Obsidian can fix. From what we can tell it looks like there is a problem with the Nvidia driver for El Capitan.

The only workaround that we are aware of is to take your game out of fullscreen mode by pressing CMD-F.

We will continue to see if there is anything we can do, but we might be at the mercy of Nvidia and Apple to fix the driver."

Thankfully, you can still go on an adventure with CMD-F until Apple resolves this issue.

  6. I understand your reasons. The less apps running on a PC, the better for memory management BUT at this point, it seems that any other players experiencing the same issue, have resolved it by running it through Galaxy.

As a user of GOG myself, I would be very disappointed to learn that any or all previous GOG games, as well as future purchases, are to be run through Galaxy to work, or some other wrapper function they tend to like adding.

Please make sure you change that negative review over to those responsible for this - NVidia and Apple.

  8. And you ran the game and went on long adventures before?

It's odd how the DxDiag.txt says the machine is using the integrated HD Graphics 4600 but the output_log.txt from the game detects a NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M.

This poster had the same issue - http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/82527-error-on-start/

All GOG versions. A suggestion in that thread was "I simply tried to run it out of the GOG Galaxy launcher and it loaded right up. It took a while to import it into GOG Galaxy, so maybe it was applying some sort of patch, but problem solved."

  9. Wait, will WM2 have underwater areas ?

If that's so than it will be awesome!

If it does, I do hope it is done properly.

Meaning, anything fire related no longer function.

Spells of electric nature act like fireballs would by spreading out through the water.

    Movement speed is halved.

Attack damage is dropped due to lack of proper movement.

One of the old Gold Box games had underwater regions, and everything got flipped around. It really made for a new experience.
