5.4 works without problems on my 9700Pro, however you should copy OpenGl 4.3 to your 5.4 extract directory before installing...OpenGl still doesn

I am still playing Kotor I, i have finished it 500 times or so and i still play it, but Kotor II, is a one time thing. (just call it a fling, a one night stand and then on the shelf type of thing)
The New additions in Kotor II is pretty cool, the reputations, the slightly more decent graphics is pretty cool, but the main thing that makes me cheat on Kotor II is the random loot crap. (i have to edit the game to give my jedi party members sabers and robes because you might be lucky if you find a single robe for yourself through the whole game and the rest don't get nothing at all)
100% agreeable...nothing more to add.

On dantooine, u get the redemption quest, how do u complete it. I could only get the assissent commander of the miltia to speak up for the jedi.
Who is the assistant commander and how did you get him to speak up for the Jedi?
Maybe the quest ends after executing the Jedi Masters (talk to the administrator)...or its just a bug like the one with the fugitives on Telos who escaped.

I think this is an excellent part of the game. It really shows that to be a Jedi is a selfless act and isn't easy. I had the same feeling while playing the game. It was extremely frustrating. In previous games being a Jedi was saving the Galaxy by waving your lightsaber around while everyone loved you for it. In this game everyone (or at least it seems so) is out to get you and good deeds aren't done for reward because there aren't any rewards. Everyone still hates you.

Was just doing the Sith Tomb on Dxun and was trying to get into the terminal with the equation. It comes up (6_2)_8_9_1=13. If you enter (6*2)-8+9/1=13, which is correct mathematically, you get a negative response, ie. zapped and can't get in. You have to enter (6*2)-8+9*1=13 to solve the puzzle and it only accepts this response as far as I can see.

I'm running the 5.2 Catalyst drivers on an X800 XT card with no issues aside from the lack of lightsaber glows and skips around the beginning and end of movies.
I'd say the Cat 5.2 set is really pretty good. And ATI have actually improved performance with OpenGL in every driver release for the last six months. The reason why Cat 4.11 is recommended so much is for three reasons:
It was the last driver to have fixes designed for KOTOR 1 incorporated into it, and is officially recommended because of the testing done on those fixes.
Still want my lightsaber glowies, though.

If you want to make shure you have drivers that work, use the ones that were new during the bugfix/tweaking phase of the development of K2. That is november-december 2004.
KoTOR was compatible with the drivers for its time, the problems started with the newer ATI drivers along with patch 1.03

[You know the funny thing isn't that people are doubting that there are going to be patchs its the fact that people aren't doubting it in the least. Just look at the stellar game support that the Xbox Gamers have gotten so far and then think about it for a second, do you really think that just because you have a PC that your going to get better service? Yes it is possible and hey who knows but if the XBox service is any indication I wouldn't hold my breath on patches anytime soon.

After reading the gamespy review I'm just curious as to when we can expect the first patch for the PC? I know the game is hours away from release, but if the bugs are as serious as the review says they are, it would be nice to know roughly how long we're going to have to put up with them.
