the wonderful thing about this thread is that no matter how brainy I think I am for attempting to read something from George Orwell or other such authors, it pales in comparison to whatever meta or Fionavar is reading. ^_^
I'm reading Chris Moore's The Stupidest Angel. It's version "2.0" so it includes an extra chapter full of the zany hijinks of Pine Cove's residents. Bliss.

Soaked Kate and Juliet wrestling= entertainment.
And the black cloud was just thrown in for the hell of it...what a great roar it makes, though; something like a cyborg dino-elephant (possibly from outer space).

I'm excited. It may come as a shock, but I'm a pretty simple guy, and get the greatest video game enjoyments from games like GTA. Just shoot, drive, complete missions and so forth.

Band: Pink Floyd. I realize it's a very rehashed kind of choice, but no band has done more for me then this one. Overrated in some ways, but also underrated in some areas (Atom Heart Mother, anyone?) Runner ups: Jethro Tull (First band I ever listened to, specifically Thick As A Brick when I was a kid), Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers, Kenny Rogers.
Movie: The Forty Year Old Virgin
TV series: Tim And Eric Awesome Show
Cartoon: Metalocalypse
Book: The Lust Lizard Of Melancholy Cove, Bloodsucking Fiends, You Suck!, Practical Demonkeeping, Coyote Blue, Lamb: The Gospel According To Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal, Fluke, or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings , Island Of The Sequined Love Nun, The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror, and A Dirty Job. And no, I will not get off Chris Moore's ****.
Comic book: Spiderman (yeah, I know)
PC video game: Half-Life 2
Console video game: KOTOR.
Games console: SNES.
Beer: Lone Star. I had this when I had a brief stay in Texas as a teen, and to date it's the best I've had. Though generally I enjoy most beers.

That's fantastic. She reminds me of a dog I had when I was a wee lad.

Aimlessly walking around the Futureshop, as I always do, I figured I'd check out the music section. I usually avoid it because of the low selection, but had some time on my hands and sought out an employee for assistance. This guy, God bless him, could barely speak a word of English, so I decided I'd be as patient as possible. As we slowly go through the empty racks of The Jesus And Mary Chain, Jayhawks, and Lemonheads sections, (I now base my album selections on what Drabs and Kor listen to) I start to ask about the Afghan Whigs. Within an instant, he knows exactly what I'm talking about, and without going to the section, explains that they are out of all albums, but are awaiting a new shipment of Gentlemen soon. He then leads me to the Twilight Singers rack, and started to talk about them in great detail, (albeit in strained English) and telling me that his personal favorite album was Powder Burns. So I picked that up and he checked me out.
I'm now awaiting a call in the next few weeks for Gentlemen. I tell you, it's these little things that make my day great.

Locke...lol. Could see that one coming from a mile away.
I really look forward to an episode where someone tells some truth about Dharma and the Others (Hostiles?) in plain English.

Something about the Fox bugs me. I just could never really get into what they were playing; not bad songs by any means, but it never clicked.
Rock 101.1 is where its at. Personal friend of Bro Jake, right here. They always hook me up with concert tickets and the like, and with classic rock, where can you go wrong?

The Lemonheads - No Backbone
Catchy rocker off the new album, featuring J Mascis from Dinosaur Jr. on lead guitar. Download it here.
I'm really getting into them lately. I got It's A Shame About Ray and love it. Thanks for the link.

Heard about that on a local rock station. I still think it's a grand idea. She'd be so popular; isn't it every teenage boy's dream to date a girl named Metallica? Or was that just me...?
Xard: YES.
