  1. "The great thing about Kickstarter is that we can go directly to the people who love to play RPGs as much as we love to make them. Plus, we don’t have to make compromises with a publisher. We make the development decisions, we market the game, and we don't have to answer to anyone but you – our fans."

Well, I guess there goes your ethics.

  2.

Where in the text? The text says that a man had sex with someone they THOUGHT was a woman. At no point is that person explicitly stated to be trans, or anything else. I used the example of the guy being sloshed as a case of "I was drunk and had sex with a guy, thinking they were a woman". So, as far as I can tell, there is no actual link to trans people beyond interpretation.

Wait, that makes a lot of sense. The man could have been dead drunk. It's a possible possibility. But that would really make these 23 pages of discussion useless.

I suggested this idea before and got blocked by people I had never even spoken to. They are not looking to understand the joke in context, they just want to stir the ****.

  3. As a trans PoC this stuff makes me super angry. I literally lost interest in this product and i regret to spend even a cent on it. My desire to play this game vanished and im getting sick even hearing the name of the game or people talking about it.  Im going to my lawyer, i really want my money back. Everyone should demand their money back. Why would any sane person support a company that spreads transphobia and obviously doesnt care about feelings from trans people, theyre even outright mocking them...

If you truly feel this way then I feel sorry for you. How is it possible to let such a small thing dictate what media you consume, especially when the poem never implied trans people at all? I'm certainly not going to ask money back for a great game I'm enjoying, but if you have a legitimate reason for a refund, then go right ahead.

  4. I've read this several times now, and as far as I can see, this has nothing to do with trans people at all. The poem is stating that a man slept with a cross dressing male. When he woke up, he realised what he had done, and overreacted, which is a likely reaction given the circumstances. Maybe I'm just missing it, but I cannot see anything to do with trans people here at all.
