  1. Install IE Mod, use the console to teleport to a different area? AreaTransition MapName PointLocation Example: AreaTransition AR_0002_Dyrford_Tavern_01 North1 The list of all areas: https://dl.dropboxus...8/poe-areas.txt You can probably do this with any save after the pit, maybe even the ToI saves where you've already beaten Thaos. This worked well, thank you Global Moderator! Kind Regards: SpecH82
  2. Yeah, that's what I think. I have a hard time believing that implementing the portal, shouldn't be that hard. but I may be wrong. Time will tell. Kind Regards: SpecH82
  3. Well I can’t speak for others than myself, most games when I’ve finished the campaign, I can’t replay the campaign again with a “short time span” passing between play through and play through. Because I get bored over the same environment’s and story, it gets repetitive. Other than that, it takes time to play through the same parts again to get too the new content, there has been a few games like the Witcher series, Mass Effect or Halo, but those games are few and far between. But that’s just me, what reasons others have, I can’t really say. Kind Regards: SpecH82
  4. Honestly, the modern games I play these days like Dragon age and Witcher gives you the ability to play expansion after you have finished the game, so I just assumed I would be able to do the same here, that was a mistake. But it is what it is now, I should have read up on it before buying the expansion pass on steam. What’s done is done. Yeah, that's definitely true, and the more modern approach to expansions would preferable for veterans of the game. I just know the devs wanted to do a Baldur's Gate style expansion that added new stuff to the map (Durlag's Tower, that ice island, etc.). It seems more geared toward new players or veterans who are more than happy to start a new game for the nth time. For people who are just getting the game, or (like me) just bided their time before playing it, it's pretty great to start out with the White March already in place, as it fills out the campaign with more content. I also save constantly, so it seems strange to think that some people would have to replay hours and hours of game just to find a save from before entering the pit. Unless it's a Trial of Iron game of course. Those people are just screwed. I personally prefer the modern approach to expansions. Still, to be so heavy reliant on the fact that the Pre-end save file will always be there or that users will keep a lot of save files is just well in my opinion, bad planning. I mean the file could disappear because of user error, corruption or other technical reasons. For those that can enjoy the expansion, be it if they have a save, start over, are a new player or decided to wait like you did, that’s great. I’m not one of them, if I decided to replay the game again, that will probably happen in about 5-10 years and it was the same with baldur’s gate and Icewind dale after I finished them. It will be the same with this, for me that is. I’m not, on the other hand going to refund the expansion like some other people have done, since I think Pillars of Eternity is an awesome game, there are too few like it, in this day and age. I hope for a continuation and the best way to make sure that happens is by making sure the company makes a profit on this game. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut I’m still going to hold some hope for that portal! Kind Regards: SpecH82
  5. Truth be told, I just want to play with the character that I’ve finished the game with and I’m not going to restart the game from the beginning for additional content. But that’s just me and probably some other people also, that won’t buy the expansions now, when they know so it's a loss of revenue for Obsidian. And honesty, I can’t see how hard it would be with the next patch, too just add a portal to the keep after the last boss I killed. But I honestly don’t know, it may actually be hard, but then the developers could just say so and be done with it! Kind Regards: SpecH82
  6. Im in the same situation as you. Also, there is no sign of the "pre-end save", so I am left with replaying hours and hours, treading the same ground over again any way I look at it. I had no idea that I was going to be unable to play the expansion just because I finished the game (a bit of a punishment there). I am also so annoyed that I have spent a futher £18 (like an idiot I bought the season pass) or so on an expansion that I cant access without re-playing the game. Wish Id saved my money. I am so peeved with Obsidian right now. Why not just let out of the pit before doing the "you know what" after defeating "you know who" (spoilers) ending the game? Yeah... I bought the White march expansion pass today 2015-09-24 and re-installed pillars of eternity, my own save file was there, after killing the boss, but before activating the machine. No autosaves or the infamous pre-end save though…………. I did get the update in the journal for the expansion when I loaded the only save I had. So I think as it stands right now, I would have to start a new game to play the expansion? It should be easy to make a portal available after you kill the boss, from that area to the keep. Kind Regards: SpecH82
  7. Hi! So I really like the game, still there is one minor thing that bugs me with the game, it’s that you can’t sort your items in your stash or inventory, at least I’ve not found a way to do so, I’d like to be able to sort my items after their type, like wand or medium armor and so forth. It be a lot easier to equip your companions and main character. Also the same type of items should stack up by auto. Kind Regards: SpecH82
  8. Why? Actually when i think about it theres no real reason for it, except maybe ethical / moral reasons, because children are innocent etc. and they cant defend themself against grown up persons Yeah there really is not, I mean you kill men and women, is that in way better morally? Besides it’s a game, I’m sure no children came to harm under production.
