I occasionally have this problem as well, but only when I try to load a save from ingame.

Here is the output-log and the DxDiag, if this helps.

Seems like y'all have fixed this problem. Nice!

Hi! I have a question about Sissak in Forgotten Sanctum:
Apparently I should be able to resolve this peacefully if I give him the Warden Contract. I do have this contract, but I can't give it to him, only say that I might look for it, which leads to fighting him.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something? -
* Extremely Detailed Spoiler Warning*
I've only found one way to deal with this quest to my satisfaction, and that is to tell him he's a big imp, IIRC a medium tier diplomacy response lets you suggest that you'll ally with Nemnok and he'll let the kid go. At that point you can say "Nah, just kiddin' buddy." and fight Nemnok, without killing the kid. I've never had enough intimidation to intimidate Nemnok, and I've never attempted the quest line without enough diplomacy to finish it this way. That said the first time I did the quest was on a Diplomacy focused character and I had to muddle through it a few times, since I didn't want to kill the kid.
As for the fight itself, have everyone stealth on the south bridge just inside the entrance and send in either a pet if you have a ranger, or if you have to a tank. I say the pet, because last I checked when you trigger dialog with a pet they run back to hang out with their master. This makes the fight pull the absolute minimum number of adds, take out the worshipers first because they're really easy to kill and their damage adds up. The other higher level spellcasters, then the tanks, and then the big imp himself. Nemnok will teleport away from you, but if you don't go chasing after him he'll also come right back to you so... you can avoid quite a few naga and ettins in the fight. Even with all of that, I'd recommend being level 15 before trying this fight on normal, and I haven't done it on PotD since the latest rebalance so I can't say quite when you should be ready for it at that level. No matter what, avoiding as many adds as possible is the easy way to win this fight IMO.
How on earth am I supposed to win against Nemnok though?
I'm level 18/19, so most of his his minions are rather easy. But he himself always casts Llengrath's Displaced Image and Arcane something, and even in the few small moments where he isn't protected by that, I still barely do any real damage to him.
Is there any special kind of weapon or ability I can use to actually win this thing?

Hi! Until today I never had any serious bug issues with Deadfire, but now I entered the Hall of the Unseen, and every time I want to leave it the game crashes (while loading the overland map).
I have savegames from before, so it's okay for now, but I really want to play The Forgotten Sanctum in a while, which I guess won't be possible if I can't leave the place afterwards.
Is there anything I can do, or are y'all aware of the problem and will fix it?
(Savegame apparently too big to upload.)

Okay, but Onekaza won't immediatly declare war on me if I fail her quest either, so there's that...
I think I want to stay out of this as best as I can, granted none of you will tell me that that'd mean both factions would be destroyed as a consequence or something like that, or that I would miss out something terribly important because of not completing any of those quests.
-
I heared that there will be no major repercussions for me if I just don't resolve the dispute either way and leave these factions quests unfinished at that point, right?
That seems to be the most favorable solution to me atm, since I generally lean towards Furrante, but don't want to destroy the Wahiki tribe, especially after I learned their "hidden purpose".

Can ship spawning be toggled off? I pretty much hate the ship combat.
I whole-heartedly agree.
It's good that we can just ignore the ships and sail past them, but I would like to turn respawn off for another reason:
The sense of accomplishment when I have cleared an area!
That's why I generally hate respawn (except when it's done very conservatively and in a realistic/believeable way). I want to feel safe and secure when I return to an area I defeated all enemies in.

Okay, I just managed to do it, and for those interested in how to achieve that: you have to sneak your way in right from the start.
Go through the West gate (need at least one char with Stealth above 10), and then sneak along the left wall staying as unnoticed as you can. I still needed to kill a few Radcerans, but I kept the numbers low. So now I was able to get a peaceful solution.PS: Kudos to the RPGCodex, who pointed me towards the right direction again.

How can I solve "The Iron flail" quest peacuefully? While talking to Adaryc I chose every [intelligence]- and [Resolve]-option I had, but in the end he still wanted to fight me.Any particular answers besides the skill based ones I should chose?
-
So turns out it ain't broken after all.
The good folks over at the RPGCodex suggested taking a char with good mechanics with me and go into sneaking mode. - Alas, it appeared! -

Hey y'all!
I rescued the Winter Wolf, and when I was in the Wolf cave I reached out for the "Wolf"s soul. Then I backed away.
No I'm supposed to find the totem at the hollow log (in the abandoned hunters camp, at least that's what I read), but can't click at the log.
Is this broken, or can I do anything to finish this quest the peaceful way?
-
Also, the original quest entry remains the same (saying I shall raise an army) after I've paid the 10.000 coin for the veteran soldiers.
Is this supposed to be this way, or is there anything else I should do to make my army bigger?

1.: Definitely a Bloodlines sequel! That would be the most awesomest thing in gaming since the WL2, TToN and PoE Kickstarters!
2.: A KotoR sequel! I'm kinda surprised it hasn't more votes, since it's pretty much what every RPG fan was hoping for since KotoR II as far as I can tell.
3.: As was mentioned before, Alpha Protocol definitely needs a successor!
4.: PoE II will happen, and I'm very happy about that!
5.: I really liked NWN2, and thinking about it makes me somewhat nostalgic. I need to play Mask of the Betrayer soon, since everybody seems to absolutely love it and says great things about it. If NWN3 would be kickstarted by Obsidian I'd instaback.

That's actually a pretty good question!
-
JoniOdin - did you get an email from Paradox?
Nope, nothing.
-
Hmm, mine is still "Shipping soon".
What can I expect in terms of waiting time? -
Is it possible that your character is wearing Serel's Ring or some other item that gives +2 Resolve? Bonuses from items won't stack.
Aaah, this is it!
Thanks!

Hi!
I'm not sure if I'm just not understanding how this is supposed to work, but if I enchant my armor with "Of Resolve", then nothing happens to my character. There is no improvement to my characters Resolve, even if the armor description correctly describes the enchantment. But probably that means something else anyway?

@Nonek:
Alright, thank you! -

Sissak bug?

Or, to repeat my question from the first post, am I just missing something and this isn't a bug?
