  1. I find this xp penalty kinda weird too and not particularly justified... I was planning my next playthrough now that all DLC are out and wanted to do companions for crit path and sidekicks for DLC and the only idea I came up with to not gimp myself was to not recruit the sidekicks until lvl 16 or so, when I actually start the content (since, as far as I remember, new recruits start at the PC level)

  2. I think he meant Visual Novel. Google it, should be explicit enough. Also :

I just don't think video game romance works.

I'm replaying BG2 right now and in my opinion, the Jaheira romance just does. Takes the whole game to complete, lots of interesting, back and forth dialogues, that's what writers should strive to do even though so far, it really is the exception rather than the norm. And Deadfire's romances were certainly not up to par.

  3. Ahh I'm really sorry about the robe situation. I don't disagree. Bobby requested fancier robes a long time ago and they were always meant to go in, but were always prioritized below other things. I'll check with the DLC team if it is possible for us to get something new in.

Yes please! You guys did an absolutely amazing job on all other armors, it's a shame robes look so bland in comparison.

  4. Hopefully not a duplicate but a quick search yielded no results.

I think we should compile in one thread all missing options (and not options incorrectly used when you're in the game) from the history creator for the devs to look at.

Here are the ones I noticed, feel free to had if I missed anything:

     - Zahua: a couple options missing I think, those two especially. As of now, there's only one option that corresponds to a finished quest (the Hand Occult option)

Zahua came to believe that the Tacan had survived through him. He returned to Ixamitl, where he united a number of small, vulnerable tribes under the beliefs of his people.
He called them Tacanaquin - kin of Tacan - and under his tutelage they became strong enough to resist would-be conquerors.

Zahua taught his secrets not to one chosen person, but to all, that the line of knowledge might never be broken.

Zahua came to understand that the time of the Tacan had passed. With his soul no longer fettered to worldly concerns, he grew to become the enlightened Anitlei his shaman had foreseen.
He took up in an empty monastery near Coldflow Lake, and word began to spread of his presence there. He taught pilgrims and students how to leave behind their vanity, their fear, and even their past.

He invited those who studied with him to share their newfound knowledge, so that all might free themselves from suffering.

     - Maneha: the option where she makes peace with her memory.

     - The wailing banshee: the option where her daughter visits her and she's released from her pain.

     - The white march and the eyeless: the one when you temper Abydon's memory.

     - Blood Legacy: this one is confusing. what's the option to pick when you free Aelys' mind or killed her and then kill Harond after?

  5. I'm not sure if it's a bug or intended, but in my PoE 1 save she ended up banished, and in my playthrough the NPCs mentioned she was banished and her task in PoE 1 didn't work etc. But she still ended up working for the ducs and even have five sun as subclass(even the symbol is scratched from her armor).

Probably worth reporting in the bug forum. They've mentioned working on a hot fix for issues with save import, the more they can fix at the same time, the better.

  6. I had so many playthroughs of PoE1 that I opted for the history maker, and so far my picks there are correctly reflected in game, including Durance.

Did the same and Eder is incorrect, right off the bat. Was supposed to be a mayor, instead went back to his family. First dialog I had with him. Maybe that's just unfortunate and the only issue in the whole import thing but I doubt it, so I'll wait for a bit.

  7. So in order to avoid the bugs regarding Vela and Eder I created a history rather than importing (After first starting with an import) however Eder now mentions going home to see his family rather than becoming mayor. Just wondering if this is in fact intended or also a bug (since its not mentioned that it can be fixed with creating a history, unlike Vela) as want to get to playing as soon as possible but also worried about potential outcomes caused by this seemingly changed history.

Same here... At least when going with created history, it's not a complete turn around with Eder but still, sad to see that kind of issue so early in the game...
