Microsoft is killing the "Bethesda Launcher" (did not even know this was a thing) and will be moving over everything to Steam (i.e. if you own a game on the Bethesda Launcher, apparently you will be comped with a Steam copy, not a Microsoft Store copy).

I think when they made the forum they misunderstood the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" line. What happens on the Obsidian forum stays on the Obsidian forum...

Hello! Did you know that when you use Arkemyr Brilliant Departure you can keep enemies engaged even though you turn invisible? If had engaged enemies before and then "jump" very near to those enemies with ABD you will keep that engagement. This can be useful - for example an Assassin/Bloodmage with Persistent Distraction and some engagement slots can use Persistent Distraction to permanently keep enemies distracted. You can also deliver disengagement attacks with Backstab- and Assasinate bonus should the enemies disengage (because why not, nobody's there, right? ;)). I thought it is a nice "passive" effect for my unseen master of debuffs. There are also some items that have some special effects when you are engaging somebody.

Hello! @Constentin Lévinealready reported the awesome feature that Hermorrhaging is (enchentment of Effort). It works with all crit rolls you do and applies sickened or hobbles the enemy. Special thnig is that those sincken/hobble rolls count as weapon attacks. While you can do awesome stuff with Avengng Storm this way I found that using Ajamuut's Stalking Cloak with an Assassin/Wizard is even more useful. The Stalking Cloak stun with every weapon attack roll done from Arkemyr's Brilliant Departure. Hemorrhaging counts! As long as you don't damage the enemies the invisibility will not drop. The thing is that Hemorrhaging procs from all crit rolls - and the stun again procs Hemorrhaging... it's a nice circle. You can kickstart that circle with any spell that doesn't do damage - for example Binding Web or even Brilliat Departure itself. It's best if the spell pulses (see Slicken or Binding Web) because the chance for crits occuring is higher then. Because of this chain reaction enemies will get stunned over and over again as long as you are invisible.

Stuck near the end of Disciples: Liberation, my love interest just turned into a zombie ... I am on the fence if I like the game, I put in a lot of hours, but I think mostly to see how the story ends, not much in terms of game play and difficulty ... it feels like a turn-based Diablo 3 ... not the Diablo people play to build characters and finish difficult levels in a certain amount of time, just straight run around and mash-buttons until everything is quiet Diablo and you open a chest.

Just wanted to say that you have made corpse eater warlock really fun to play. Immune to engagement, more species for resource renegeration, Lions sprint for accuracy bonus for spells, interrupting carnage and llengraths warding staff ( raw lash because of push effect) is fun combo and there is plenty of healing options too. Love it.

What about turning down the difficulty setting for this fight? Besides that: luring enemies one by one with noisy spells (for example Dazzling Lights) or traps almost always works. No. The animancers + Aloth will have left the cage when you come back and you can recruit him then. But you won't be able to recruit him before going into the arena's belly of course - only after. I mean unless you sneak to the adra pillar, trigger the scripted scene and sneak back to recruit Aloth... and only then really clear the whole digside with him. That's also possible - but a bit weird imo.

The 980 sits between the 3GB 1060 and the 6GB 1060 so you're actually above the minimum specs and you'll be fine there. You'll be fine RAM-wise too, the requirements are for total system RAM, not free RAM. The average gaming machine built today even in the $1500-2000ish range still only goes with 16GB. Besides, upgrading now would be very questionable because the current generation is the last one that will use DDR4.

Can't say I've ever used the Bethesda launcher so I know nothing about it. I used the UPlay client once, back when Might and Magic 10 released. That was... *checks release date* holy hell, 8 years ago.

I tend to do a strange thing. There is a gunpowder barrel in the Arena. I sneak down to the tent in the arena (position super important) near the tent, hugging the wall. Then I use sparkcrackers to attract beasts near gunpowder. Eder uncloaks and shoot barrel, barrel explodes. Rest is fighting with tent as chokehold.

It is good to see Eagly getting more work, but after Peacemaker and this, I am worried he is being typecast as a superhero flick animal actor.

Don't know if this has been documented elsewhere, but the great sword Burden's Grieving enchantment and the "Rightful Vengeance" enchantment of several late-game amulets (e.g. Tooth of Toamowhai) works when a non-Ghost Heart animal companion is downed. Reviving the animal companion, at least with the ranger revive skill, does not take the bonuses away; it only removes Bonded Grief. Suddenly, the pet going down could actually be a good thing! Given the potential with Brilliant to continually revive the pet, one could feasibly max out the bonuses from these items. I've read that Burden has a maximum of +4 to MIG, but I don't know if the amulets have a maximum. Thoughts?

the siabre perhaps? on the wintersun map as part o' the miammir(sp?) the scholar quest? not positive which encounter you reference. siabre is a what as 'posed to a who. on the same wintersun map is another obscure kinda quest which offers a big xp payoff. is too late to worry, but blightmaw (act ii) in the drezen keep is easily missed and his demise results in a considerable xp reward. secret of secrets quest is gonna be too difficult to explain w/o a map... is end of act iii material, though is possible to complete in act iv if you miss it it in act iii. big xp. is a nice ring reward for spontaneous casters. global achievement stats says only 1.4% o' players has completed secret of secrets. is considerable missable content in acts iv and v. when you get to those acts we will spoil you if you wish. the most stoopid missable content is random lore/mobility/athletics checks which curious offer broken kinda rewards in a few spots. is the ravaged longhouse map in act iii which has a couple athletics checks and a mobility check which in the beta were worth something close to 3k a piece, but has since been reduced to nevertheless improbable amounts. HA! Good Fun!

Yes I would upgrade because memory isnt a huge cost compared to a video card or motherboard and it makes a significant performance difference if your PC is highly utilized I am not sure how familiar you are with Windows performance metrics but an easy way to monitor performance is run all your apps and games together and then right click the Task Bar at the bottom and go to Task Manager when the menu pops up Go to the Performance Tab and you will see all your main hardware measurements like disk, memory, CPU and other things. From that you can determine if you have a hardware bottleneck and what needs to be upgraded. I have included my work laptop in the image below and from this you can see I would benefit from both a memory and CPU upgrade but the laptop is for work purposes so I dont need to
