  2. This is an easy one. It's actually a bit of an exploit if you hit spider and they notice you're out of reach. So you must be on top of an item that keeps you safe correct? Maybe a leaf or a rock so that you're above them. If you're out of reach for them to hit you they keep running away. All you have to do is make sure your feet are on the ground and available for them to reach you. At this point they'll come back to kill you. So you can hit them and run for cover, or height advantage, they'll start backing up. Drop to ground level to entice them back to you. Once you go back onto your platform they'll back up again. Does this make sense?

  6. There have always been two Wolf spiders living in the base of the Oak tree. Since the launch of the test , they have both been oddly absent from the tree. I thought perhaps I just wasn't catching them in there, but it was consistent through the test. Found out today why they are missing from the tree, Apparently they are stuck IN the tree. There is another Wolf spider that lives under a leaf right of the entrance to oak lab and when you are up in his spot you can hear the other Wolf spiders arrgo you and see parts of their legs protruding from the base of the tree. Could not get a clear picture of them since they move so fast. But they are in there, generally there is a Lady Bug or two stuck in there as well , with a slew of aphids and weevils.

  7. Lots of variations of this, but basically creatures are either getting stuck inside the terrain or objects on the terrain, Or they are getting stuck on objects in the terrain like the ant on top of a mushroom with no apparent way for it to have gotten there. These are just two screenshots , but there are many other instances that I have seen, with pretty much every kind of creature in the game. Figured since this is the last day of public test , I should through this in the pile as well Cheers! Great game all! Keep up the great work! Can't wait for the real deal release, looking forward to it!

  8. I was going to say "nothing," but then I looked up some lists and ... ...when did these two happen. I'll probably buy the Evil Genius one when on/near when it releases (Steam page only says "2021") just to check it out. Stronghold Warlords I'm more iffy about (maps again look small vs. 3d structures and I didn't like SH2 or SH3 all that much) but I might check it out too. Maybe it'll at least be a bit better than SH3. Dunno if it'll have a sandbox mode tho.

  9. I'm looking forward to all the crowd funded projects that I have backed, plus a lot of Japanese games. Backed: Solasta: Crown of the Magister, SKALD: Against the Priory, Mechajammer, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes... Non-backed: Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Persona 5: Scramble and Trails of Cold Steel IV (PC), Nier Remake, Bravely Default 2, Brigandine (PC)...

  12. I mean, it's Konami; I would have been shocked if they put any more effort than the absolute bare minimum into these ports.

  13. Yo! Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid and MGS2 are available on GOG. According to some reviews "port" isn't superb, but as someone who never had chance to play those games I am genuily interested.

  15. I think it usually does the complete opposite - making companions feel less like people and more like less convincing Joy. If let’s say complete strangers are kidnapped together and are consumed by parasites dating is probably not in their mind. It is also hilarious how everyone PC recruits is available. PoE1 are some of the more believable, relatable and “immersive” companions I have experience precisely because they feel like they have their own life - our paths just intersect.

  16. I do keep meaning to do a re-run of ME Andromeda at some point. Ah well. I have now managed to spend slightly over 70 hours in Conan Exiles exploring and building. Worked out that for an engagement value of ÂŁ1 an hour, it was value to pick up the DLC's and have all the added aesthetics for my building shenanigans.

  17. Well, there go last molecules of my already thin, lukewarm enthusiasm. I guess BG3 gonna be 75%, not 50% discount off GOTY purchase, and that's only because of that blowjob diagram.

  19. I have four KS-backed games out there whose release I'm waiting on, so those would be at the top of my list: P:WotR, Black Geyser, Realms Beyond, and Solasta. I have CP2077 on my wishlist but I will wait to buy it. Same for CK3. Whenever Dark Alliance comes out I will at least take a look at it. BG3 I'm not excited about, but I can see myself picking it up years from now at a bargain price. Games further out in the timeline that I am definitely excited about are: Avowed, DA4, Starfield, and the next Witcher game.

  22. ranger's Takedown Combo is an under-appreciated combo (literally), because I think as a community we just discovered it relatively late. Basically, takedown combo will increase +100% the damage done by DoTs as well, but doesn't get consumed by a simple DoT application or tick (it will get consumed by a DoT that has an initial attack, but you can just use the takedown combo after the initial application then). Works great with Disintegration and Cleansing Flame. I'll bet it would also be amazing with CCS since it ticks so frequently for decent damage.

  23. Yeah, real shame that a guy like that hasn't been given any opportunities in the industry. I mean, he's only been given a few dozen shots. How dare he be held accountable for his actions!

  24. The easiest way to maintain your saved game files when switching between the release build and joining the public test is to make a duplicate save by copying the folder in your Saved Games folder and move it to a safe location before joining the Public Test. Here's how to do this: Method 1: Step 1: Load the game you wish to save. Step 2: Make 2 saves using the save feature in the game. Log out of the game after you confirm you have two saves of the same game. Step 3: Switch to the public test. Choose one of the duplicated saves to be your public test save. Only enter using that save, do not launch the game using the save you are keeping for the release build. Step 4: Play the public test. Step 5: When you are done with the Public Test, switch your Steam client back to the release build. Step 6: Launch Grounded. Step 7: Exit Grounded and wait for the cloud to sync. Step 8: Launch Grounded and continue playing where you left off! Method 2: Step 1: Navigate to C:\Users[USERNAME]\Saved Games\Grounded Step 2: Find the save folder you wish to save, and make a copy of it. You can add something like "-Current Save" at the end so you know what save it is. Step 3: Move the copy to a location outside of this folder, preferably on your Desktop or somewhere you will remember. Step 4: Join the Public Test and start playing! Step 5: When you are done with the Public Test, switch your Steam client back to the release build. Step 6: Move your save file back into your Saved Games folder. Remove any additional words you added to the name. Step 7: Log in and continue playing where you left off! Have fun, and continue to let us know what you uncover in the public test backyard!

  25. I have been exploring the hedge lab and found several pieces of paper that are listed as invalid game items. Each one has a number in the header and then a second number in the descriptive text: 721/726, 724/726, 723/728. The labels need to be fixed or removed from the game.

  29. I had noticed that as well, as i'm wearing spider armor and after repairing all of the pieces. I did a number of combat rounds and the head was the only armor that needed to be repaired.

  30. The 3080 will suit my 1440p needs and then some. Actually, the biggest issue here isn't the card, it's the fact that some gaming engines currently on the market still suck at utilizing high refresh rates, the Unreal Engine comes to mind here.

  37. http://www.deadstate.doublebearproductions.com/ Leader is Brian Mitsoda afaik. inXile I was thinking more as an offshoot of Interplay. From newer offshoots, I remember only one japanese guy (dont remeber his name) from Konami who made Bloodstained, but that is no RPG. There might be some more people who released stuff already, but I really do not remember
