  2. Empire of Sin may be interesting. Werewolf: Heart of the Forest has an interesting demo, so I want to see where the full game takes me. XCOM 3 is something I am looking forward to as I enjoyed what they explored in Chimera Squad.

  3. GN throwing shade on Nvidia's 8K marketing, as the performance isn't great. Not many games are actually playable, 1 out of their 6 game suite. The EVGA 3090 in the UK is 2142 USD. Probably more than my entire build will be with a 3080. No one should buy this card for gaming.

  6. When Bandidos and Hells Angels had a falling out in Denmark and Sweden a few decades ago, missile launchers, heavy machine guns, hand grenades, car bombs, just about everything was put to use. Edit: Despite loosening up recruiting requirements considerably, the bikies eventually made peace when they started dying faster than they could recruit. Edit2: The army depots the article refers to were a left over from the cold war that was still only a few years in the past. National guard units had depots all over the country to make mobilization of reserves faster in case of DDR and Polish troops invading. Cut and paste from Wiki (Great Nordic Biker war) Weaponry Between 1994 and 1997, there were at least thirty-six break-ins at Swedish and Danish Army installations; at least sixteen Bofors anti-tank missiles, ten machine guns, around three-hundred handguns, sixty-seven fully automatic rifles, two-hundred-and-five rifles of various calibres, hundreds of hand grenades and land mines, and seventeen kilograms of explosives plus detonators were stolen. Police believe the Bandidos or their support clubs were responsible for the majority of the thefts. The Hells Angels obtained Russian- and Yugoslavian-made rocket launchers as well as surplus machine guns and rifles from East European countries.[6] The conflict saw the use of the Swedish AT4 eight times, and the Russian RPG-22 three times. Hand grenades were used four times and a booby trap once. Car bombs were utilized three times, while other types of explosives were also used on three occasions. The bombs used scaled in size between one and five kilograms.[6]

  7. - Torch now goes out when submerged in water. (I imagine in preparation for the water expansion) - Wheel can be used to make crude rope at the cost of only 1 plant fiber instead of the normal 3. - Side note maybe adjust sound of crude rope making, it sounds like eating rather than rustling of plant fibers. - Drawn bow can now be canceled with right click.   11. Please make the zipline a little bit faster. Increasing the speed to 20-30% will be enough. I’ve watched a couple of youtube videos about the update and everyone said the same thing “ziplines are too slow” For now i find running faster than actually using the zipline unless you build a VERY VERY high tower. It’s painful to build high towers with just stairs. I hope you can make ladders in the future too. Thank you.

  12. I don't play them any more as much as I... load them up with cheats enabled and skip the missions and simply enjoy the story/dialogue. That reminds me I still have Wing Commander Saga to play through. But that's... uhm. I know it's just a mod campaign but it really is 5 minutes of gameplay and an hour of reading Wing Commander fanfiction.

  13. Next tuesday can't come soon enough with Spelunky2 coming out on PC. Empire of Sin is something I am keeping my eye on, but I need to see more of it. Baldur's Gate3 can my curiosity, of course, but won't be jumping into Early Access most likely. Mostly because I won't be able to run it. Also I am not sure if I would like it. There is Cyberpunk but 1) I need a new PC 2) I actually am not terribly interested for some reason outside it being a CDPR game. Humankind might be interesting, but need to see more.

  14. I just heard this on the radio and had to double check on the Internet. Turns out it’s true. Vladimir Putin has been nominated for a Nobel peace prize. No I didn’t get that off the onion. I didn’t think this was possible but somehow Trump looks like a better candidate now.

  20. I was fighting a soldier ant, then jumped up on a branch and while looking down the game just crashed to desktop. Attached is my save file AND DxDiag. Hosted MP game. UPDATE - reloaded the game and fought a worker ant, crash. It seems to crash every time I fight an ant now.   28. As much as I absolutely HATE the idea of Taming in Grounded .... You can ALREADY manipulate the bugs to your uses. I'll piss off a Ladybug ... make it chase me ... all the way down into the anthill. One Ladybug will take down half the anthill if it's not too over-populated. and few things are more entertaining than a WWE Match with 2 Wolf Spiders vs 4 Stinkbugs .... and No Rules or Referees You don't need to add Special Taming Mechanisms to the game ..... just be a little creative. I like the game just how it is .... I don't need to be riding a spider with my hair on fire screaming " I OWN THE WORLD " ..... cause then ...... what am I gonna do tomorrow ??

  29. The last of a smallish batch of spaghetti for lunch: not visible but also has finely grated yellow squash in it, which adds more fiber/veggie but is hardly noticeable texture-wise. Wheat noodles work/taste fine. I actually probably like them a bit more than typical "white" egg-noodles... The day after grocery shopping day is the bulk-cooking day. (edit: the beef is just top round, it's fine for stir-fry when cut very thin) - putting meat in the freezer for a couple hours makes it easier to slice. I don't eat much protein per meal and just mix a bit of the cooked beef into whatever veggies I'm using at the time so that tub lasts all week. I use other veggies too, ofc, but they don't go with this mix so they're separate, for change-up.

Also encountered the crash when I was testing the fix for the infected weevil, I was able to make it work but after hunting some more the game crashes right before the explosion animation, now can't load the save and it just crashes. Sent them an email with my info attached. Hope they can push a quick patch.

  35. Testing 2421 patch for the weevil, I can see the animation of about to explode BUT my game is crashing when it is at that point that I think it explodes. Will test a different save game and see if it still crashes. EDIT: Can confirm it is fixed, the crashing I got no longer happened after I reloaded the save, then quit, then loaded the logout-save. EDIT2: Hunt around for more to test and encountered the crash. Sent an email to support.

  39. Issue: Cannot walk up/down any stairs with low ceiling. You build stairs, then above it you build a slanted clover roof going in the same direction as the stairs. It was working on previous release 2.1.2323 Workaround: Crouch and move forward. DxDiag.txt

  46. This isn't PoE3, though. You might as well go on Grounded's forums and say you want it to be PoE3. Avowed is not PoE3, it is something else, even if set in the same IP. Also, that Avowed is being made doesn't mean Obsidian won't make PoE3 at some point. I certainly hope they make it.
