  5. I didn't know this, but it makes play dead more useful as it gives great buffs to your ranger without giving bonded grief penalties. Even after 2400+ hours I can still learn new stuff! https://pasteboard.co/ZIW7FU7rt9tb.png https://pasteboard.co/ysa3AQjDdwOI.png

  6. You are dead to me... for the Miracle Whip part. I'm with you on spicy brown mustard. There's a big BBQ/party coming up this weekend at my sister's (if the weather allows, it's looking like a potential wash out). The price of admission is to bring a side, so I decided I'd bring coleslaw, because what goes better with BBQ than slaw? The answer is nothing. Anyway, I hadn't made slaw in quite a while so I decided to do a trial run or two beforehand, not that slaw is hard to make. The first slaw I made was a pretty standard sweet-ish slaw, the kind you get from KFC. The only non-completely standard ingredient I added was apple, but that's not unusual for a sweet-ish slaw. It came out fine. Today I did another trial run and decided to go zesty instead. I did away with the apple and the sugar, the only sweet ingredient is carrot, and I added white onions, radishes, and chives, plus I increased the pepper content significantly. It came out awesome, probably the best slaw I've ever made, and it hasn't even had a chance to sit in the fridge overnight. This is the recipe I'll use for the batch for the party, provided it happens. Disclaimer: No Miracle Whip came within 500 yards of the slaw during the making process.

  7. I recently finished The Outer Worlds. +Huge world to explore +Well written dialogue +Gunplay feels fun +Choices matter -Gun variety is awful -Main story is boring -Factions don't have any meaningful motivations Overall I'd give it a fair 7.5/10 Started playing Stalker: Shadow of Chornobyl on the PS5. My god is it hard on Stalker difficulty. I am reaching the end of the game and I am getting my butt kicked left and right...cannot...take it anymore! Definitely gonna start the other two games on novice difficulty since I am getting the feeling that the console version is a little harder compared to the vanilla version on PC.

  14. This is still a thing. It just spins and spins around and sits at the main screen. Try enabling crossplay and then it prompts me to link a microsoft account. Do the steps through the microsoft link website and still fails out on my ps5 console.

  15. Wasn't today but the last weekend, but I made a dead(wood) hedge. I had to get rid of all the cut-off branches and stuff we removed from the neglected and overgrown neighboring property (which is now ours since new year) and thought that this might be a nice way of dealing with it:

  16. Hi folks, sorry for the delayed response, we've been heads down working on the deployment of this patch. We're anticipating to release in the coming weeks, we're just locking in deployment on the various platforms now. Currently we are targeting Steam, Game Pass, GOG, and Epic Store for PC. We've also been working on Mac and Linux builds, which we're hoping to push in a separate patch along with more continued improvements and bug fixes. Thank you all for your patience and support.

  17. I'm not that familiar with the lore of Warhammer 40k to properly know all the ins and outs, but these events are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The Age of Technology lead to a great conflict that almost destroyed humanity (the war against AI, hence the AI ban in the Imperium), while the excesses of the Eldar led to the birth of the Prince of Darkness, heralded by intense warp storms, isolating clusters of systems and leading to the Age of Strife.

  18. It's pretty much a miracle that Andor turned out the way it did. I have no idea how the hell that could happen, considering the quality of everything else Star Wars.

  19. I get that lil-fist was used a little too much on bosses and needed to be nerfed, but nerfing every aspect of it now makes it useless. It's so weak, I can't ever see a reason to use it. Punching does less damage so it takes longer for it to do meaningful attack damage, and the reset upon taken damage makes it near impossible to get the hit counter high enough for meaningful attack damage. One of these changes alone is a significant set back to lil-fist users, but both! It already receives a full reset after you are no longer being targeted, why does it need another full reset to worry about. Wouldn't it have been better to attack the source of the problem and made bosses resistant to lil-fist or punching. But I digress. First Idea: Change the new counter system; 3 approaches here. Instead of a full reset to the hit counter, why not have the count lose a set number per attack received. Every time I receive a hit, my hit counter decrease by ten. Have the decrement proportional to the damage received. The harder I get hit, the more my hit counter tanks. That way a player doesn't have to constantly have to fight to keep their hit counter alive by perfectly blocking every attack around them. Instead it would be more about trying to maintain a high hit count throughout the fight. Don't decrement or reset the hit counter at all during the fight, but instead have a limit on how high the hit counter can get and have it increase with each level of lil-fist. Like a max of 20, 40, 60 for each level of lil-fist. Second Idea: Gauntlets; Change nothing about the new lil-fist balancing and instead add something new. A problem with lil-fist is that it can't be scaled like other attack specific mutations can through the different tiers of the game. Take chopper for example: there is a tier 1, 2, and 3 axe, so as you fight stronger insects there is stronger axes to pair with chopper. Now what if chopper only applied to the tier 1 axe, making it mildly useful against weaker insects but useless against stronger opponents. Lil-fist doesn't have a specific weapon to scale through the tiers of the game with, that's kind of the point. Gauntlets could change that. They don't take away from the over-all scheme of lil-fist, it's still punching, and it gives the ability to hot-swap between punching and and another attack method. Make it a two-handed weapon, and give it boxing like animations. The different tier idea: Tier 1: Plant fiber wrist wrap. recipe: a couple of fiber bandages, crude rope, and mite fuzz model: plant fiber wrapping around the fist and wrists, similar to how boxers have their hands wrapped, with the crude rope going over the knuckles and red tuffs of mite fuzz sticking out from underneath. rough photoshop of idea Tier 2: Insect gloves. recipe: some berry leather, silk rope, and some tier 2 beetle part. model: black or purple boxing gloves with silk rope around the wrists and beetle parts plating the impact area. Tier 3: Ox Beetle Gauntlets, recipe: two ox beetle horns, lint, pupa leather. model: basically if you use the horns as punching gloves
