Ordered in for dinner last night. Got a Caesar salad with fried capers for my son because he's on a big salad kick. Got angel hair pasta with garlic and oil for my daughter because she loves noodles. Also got meatballs to share and beef carpaccio and burrata salad for the missus and I. Now we're chilling on the back patio eating some homemade lemon and mango popsicles.

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/07/17/africa/africa-eswatini-trump-us-deportees-intl There is such a ridiculous and sensationalized story in our local media at the moment Basically 5 criminals have been sent from the US to Swaziland to be incarcerated, Trump has done this a few times in other countries like El Salvador For those who dont know anything about Swaziland its an absolute Monarchy where the king has 11 wives and lives a lavish lifestyle while most of the country lives in abject poverty But its a sovereign country and obviously the US is paying Swaziland to incarcerate these criminals The funny part is all the South African drama and comments from some people about this "A South African government source told CNN, “There is a feeling that some inside the Trump administration could be using this (the deportation of prisoners to Eswatini) to destabilize South Africa,” given its porous borders and Eswatini’s struggling economy. " Just to be clear, 15% of our prison population is foreigners so thats about 25k people who are in prison for many of the same crimes and we have millions of people in the country illegally but somehow 5 people are going to escape from Swaziland and ......" destabilize our country " -

House gives final approval to Trump’s $9 billion cut to public broadcasting and foreign aid Honestly, the country feels diminished now. Public broadcasting, NPR, and others made it feel like I was getting my money's worth out of the taxes. Now the money is just going to line wealthy tax shelters. Booo! -
There are a few weird quirks in the .chatterbundle files that Apotheosis generates. The only potentially serious one is that adding a chatternode from a parent file doesn't seem to be adding it to "AudioLookup" list. Otherwise it's all pretty minor stuff that isn't affecting the functionality of chatter from what I can tell. Like the "Audiolookup" will rearrange when new nodes are added to existing chatter. This sort of thing happens: "AudioLookup": { "22": "ability_cast_interrupted_0022", "80": "ability_cast_interrupted_0080", "97": "ability_cast_interrupted_0097", "40001": "attack_40001", "40002": "attack_40002", "40003": "attack_40003", "10001": "barbarian_shout_10001", "28": "battlecry_0028", "29": "battlecry_0029", "30": "battlecry_0030" And that I'm still not quite used to the order of things on chatternodes being different what they usually look like in Deadfire. Weirdly... Close to how "TalkNodes" are laid out for .conversation files in PoE1... What's with that? Anyway, I can work these issues, thanks a lot Noqn!

Hey, I took a quick look over it. The Fleshrender_Weapon.gamedatabundle file seems fine, but several of the other .gamedatabundle files you've posted seem to contain instances of incorrect and missing parameters. A few examples: Fleshrender_StatusEffects.gamedatabundle, None of the following seem to be status effect properties: https://eternity.obsidian.net/game-data-formats/components#statuseffectcomponent "TickInterval", "TickEffectValue", "StackingType", "ApplicationEvent", "AffectedStat", "DamageType", VisualEffectID" Fleshrender_EnchantRecipes.gamedatabundle, each entry starts with the header "ItemEnchantmentGameData" which isn't a valid gamedata type from what I can tell. Fleshrender_Enchantment.gamedatabundle has similar problem with the "StatusEffectItemModComponent" header. I'm not really sure how this happened, did you use an old mod as the basis for your mod maybe?

Yeah, I can definitely recommend to you to try it out. If not for full price, then after some discount. The biggest issue is IMHO, that even the most chronic SF6/Tekken8 complainers who actually do not think bad about CotW, are just rather sticking with the game they complain about all day long, than give it a more thorough chance. Especially here in Central Europe. EWC 2025 had more than 20k viewers watching Top8 broadcast on YT and Twitch, so it has potential to grow. Just people need to be less stubborn and try it out. The game has also pretty steep learning curve, but if almost 50 years old guy with ****ty reflexes can win some Ranked matches, everyone can -
What we know so far about 3I/ATLAS, the interstellar visitor This is the third interstellar object discovered passing through the Solar System. Based on its hyperbolic orbit, this may be from a thick disk star system and hence it could be (2/3 chance) older than the Sun. They expect it to be a water-rich comet; it's already developed a coma from solar heating. The new VCR observatory is expected to discover many more such objects. Maybe one day we'll be able to get a sample?

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/new-us-assessment-finds-american-strikes-destroyed-only-one-three-iran-rcna218761 "One of the three nuclear enrichment sites in Iran struck by the United States last month was mostly destroyed, setting work there back significantly. But the two others were not as badly damaged and may have been degraded only to a point where nuclear enrichment could resume in the next several months if Iran wants it to, according to a recent U.S. assessment of the destruction caused by the military operation, five current and former U.S. officials familiar with the assessment told NBC News." -

Balance in SF6 is pretty good as well. Jinrai is just this annoying move with good pressure, mixup and little effective counter play. With its multitude of defensive options CotW probably won’t find it too oppressive. All I am hearing of CotW is good. It will be the game I will be looking into if I ever get bored of SF6. -

Roxas_Matrix started following Grounded 2, my personal 'Make a wish'.
-
As truly excited for Grounded 2 as I am, I am hoping beyond hope for something to be added into the game by it's Devs. I realize that I may only be blowing air and what I am asking for most likely won't end up being put into the game, but a guy can dream can't he? I really like the whole 'Beast Master Job-Class' sort of vibe the game will have with allowing our mounts to fight along side us players. And in that same spirit, I would really like a specific type of mount to exist in the game. I tend to prefer playing as a 'Tank' type of fighter, with wearing the armor and trinket that makes me possess the highest possible physical and elemental defenses as I can obtain while wielding the highest damage dealing weapon there is in the game. However, this play style lacks a very crucial component that the first grounded game never had. That is, a pet or something similar (mount) that would have the ability to stand back from the combat and as you the player are in the process of combating an insectoid opponent, would periodically use an ability that would both heal your health a large percentage of your maximum health and bestow incredibly powerful physical and elemental defense buffs on you that would last until your current battle was completed. I don't mind if you have to make this companion incredibly difficult to obtain in-game, as long as you actually put it in the game to obtain. It would have to be something the player could obtain towards the beginning of the game though. It would not make much sense if we players only gained access to obtain this companion towards the end of our game playthrough once there wasn't much game left for us to enjoy using this companion for. Thank you for listening, keep up the amazing work.

We need new game+, or what's the point of all this work and the original player base isn't going to return.
