  5. Hello! In the past (and still with the non-beta branch of the game), if you put on two items that give the same spellbind, for example the Sun-Touched Mail of Hyran Rath (3 Sunbeams per rest) and Amulet of Summer Solstice (same), you'd get the 3 spells two times under your bag symbol in the action bar. With the beta branch it kind of bugs out a bit. You will not get the 2 instances of spellbind. You put on the mail: one spellbind appears (with 3 casts). You put on the amulet: nothing happens. You remove the mail: spellbind disappears. You remove the amulet: nothing happens. You re-equip the amulet: spellbind appears. This seems to be more than a simple suppression going on. Then the spellbind would still be there when removing the mail since the amulet's spellbind would kick in. I also noticed some other items which add special actions to the action bar don't work, for example the Helwax Mold seems to be unusable (greyed out). Maybe that's related? Cheers!
  6. Anyone here try that Where Winds Meet (f2p, cosmetic MT only) that seems to be all the rage? My main concern/bugaboo (outside of the always online I think) would be combat. Game world looks like my kinda thing (you can SP it/ignore the MP elements entirely) but combat looks like some form of souls-lite, with the constant circle, parry/dodge to not die, type mechanics. If it's "lite" enough (Tainted Grail) I might find it tolerable/fun but if it's too much like Sekiro et all... I keep meaning to try it since it's free to download, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I might this week - but just curious if anyone already has and could speak re: combat.
  7. I have started experiencing an issue upon loading into an area (from elevators, fast travel, etc) where VALERIE will often spawn in with a Zyranian poisoning effect and an EXTREMELY loud sound. The poisoning effect disappears immediately after. This appears to have started after getting the Mantisaur pupa. I did also recently lower the music volume to 35%.

At the end of Aza's companion quest ("Stabbing at Shadows"), if you choose the first speech option ("Let me handle this"), then suggest Aza should let Dagmar go, then tell Dagmar to tell Aza that the Cult was a lie and then choose the "I changed my mind... [Attack]" option, combat will ensue. Once Dagmar is dead Aza will start dialogue with you again. If you then tell her to disband the cult*, after the dialogue is finished, Dagmar's corpse will have disappeared and you won't be able to loot Aza's advanced mod kit from her. The only way to not miss the quest reward is to very quickly loot the corpse before Aza starts dialogue again. * might also happen if you choose other options, but I haven't tested that.
  9. Near the end of the quest "An Instrument to Unfold Space & Time" it is possible to get trapped inside the building without any way to leave, effectively breaking the game. This happens when near the end of the quest you (sneak) attack Vaillencourt and kill him instead of talking to him and initiating combat via dialogue. His forces will still atack you but even after killing them all, the map will still show "Deal with Vaillantcourt's Forces". You can go back to the scientist and get the quest reward from her but the door in the hangar that should allow you to leave the facility will remain closed. I've tried this mulitple times and the bug happened at every single attempt.

  12. Lost a couple of hours of gameplay from today as it seems Anno has a bug with saving games. To make matters worse, if I try to save over an older game it deletes the save.
  13. I watched Phantom of the Opera with the family (the movie) so clearly we are all in a musical mood. I also started Plur1bus with my wife. It was nowhere near what I was expecting. It is great though.

So far all the Dual Wield Weapons (Other than Ice Sickles as I don't have them yet) don't seem to sit in the Wall Weapon Mounts Correctly, in the file attached is a example with the northern shredders (Mitey Claws follow the same) as for the Weaver and Wolfsbane Daggers they just seem to have their handles in the back of the wall mount while the blades stick out of the front like you gave the walls their mandibles.
  16. It is officially December and still no fall update for this game. I am extremely disappointed I used to think obsidian was one of the good devs. They were passionate and cared about the games they were making, while giving fans beautiful unique worlds with captivating stories. I have been excited for avowed since it was first announced. I pre-order and played the heck out of the game when it came out. The only gripe i had was no new game plus. I feel it is a feature all single player games should have, gives replayablilty, While also promoting the player to make new choices they have not made before and play the game again with a character that we spent many hours honing into the perfect character. Obsidian came out with an update roadmap only to give up on it. So there is no fall update it is December now. I feel they are burned out churning out games for $$$. They are selling games that are incomplete, they need multiple patches,which would be fine if they actually stuck to the road map. But again I know nothing about developing a game, im just a concerned fan. I just hope in The future obsidian is able to manage these situations better. I'm hoping to replay avowed soon and enjoy the amazing world and characters they crafted. I hope they come out with a statement claiming when the 1.6 update is actually coming out. Until then I guess I will just wait, thats all i can do.
  17. Replayed a bit as I got the DLC, maybe will replay the whole thing with them. Giving Argenta the bolter with AoE remains a bad idea, hilariously so as got her to suicide herself as a mob was a little too close.

  20. also - Shadow Fang ability also does not apply damage-over-time from melee stealth. I guess because of the same bug.

  22. Ambient sounds sometimes cut out in certain locations. It's particularly noticeable on The Incognito (in the area with the lockboxes) and in Francis Min's office on the Free Market Station. Some rifts also completely disable ambient sound effects and music (like the Goomerang rift on Paradise Island).
  23. Controller Aim Sensitivity isn't applied consistently across different weapon types. It applies correctly to Shotguns and Machine Guns, while the other weapon types are either barely affected (e.g. Light Pistols), or seemingly not affected at all (e.g. Minigun). Additionally, this setting is significantly less aggressive relative to Mouse Aim Sensitivity (which works correctly across different weapon types with the exception of Minigun). In general, Controller Aim Sensitivity needs to be applied uniformly regardless of the weapon type and/or scope, and the intensity of the effect needs to be upped (i.e. lower settings should match the intensity of Mouse Aim Sensitivity).
  24. Automech Scrapper persists even if Marisol isn't in the party — i.e. the player will get extra scrap from automechs. This is unrelated to the Scrapper perk that the player can select. Target body part analysis from N-Ray Scanner Analyzer persists even if Marisol isn't in the party — the game will still display Bleed, Stun & Knockdown (although the effects won't trigger).
