I've started a replay of BG3 as well, a few days ago. Getting close to Act 2 again, and I'm having way more fun with the game now than the first time, just because I know now how everything works, and how to best use the environment for my advantage. I think the game is pretty good. IMO, a party of 6 is really not necessary. Guess it would make combat a lot easier as well. Not sure why your people can't hit anything - I'm wrecking whatever crosses my path. Maybe you use the wrong weapons, etc? If we'll get a PoE3 some day, I'd really love it to just use this game engine. All of the interactions and environments combined with Obsidians writing should end up pretty cool.

Fast food workers in Germany do get paid minimum wage, and our fast food is still cheaper than the stuff in America, last I checked. Nobody really has to take on multiple jobs to survive. Obviously if you take away all of the regulations, and let companies do whatever the hell they want, they will just increase prices if they are forced to pay more wages. After all, who's to stop them? The end result is something like Walmart, that is deeply tied into the government social security benefits system to pay their workers as little as possible AND milk tax payer money from the state to supplement those wages to make their employees only barely starve and not completely. Don't get me wrong, I love my capitalism as much as the next westerner. I'm profiting from it as well, and don't really have a terrible life due to it. But this **** in America is just mental and way, way too much. You're going so far, you end up on the other side of the horseshoe curve (vs poverty of communism, lol). That said, I have no idea how this situation can be fixed without literal WW3 happening and resetting everything a la Star Trek. Fun fact, just last week I've learned that the WW3 in Star Trek lore started in 2026, lol. Who knows, maybe things will actually get better once everything went down the crapper first.

poverty in the US is not what most people believe it to be. Kathryn Anne Edwards Opinion: The tyranny of the low-quality job "Longitudinal studies of family income in the 1970s and early 1980s show that, while long-term poverty exists, it is a slim, fractional minority. Poverty is a mostly transient state experienced by a much larger share of people and caused by household and/or labor-market disruptions. Poverty isnβt a function of where you lived or how wealthy your parents are. Income can drop for lots of reasons: Someone moves out of the house, a job is lost, an accident prevents someone from working full-time. A new job, or recovered earnings, can end the spell." is not a long piece and is worth reading. aside, most o' the traditional solutions is wrong, or at least poor crafted. when california raised the minimum wage for fast food workers, not surprising, the prices o' fast food skyrocketed. raise the minimum wage is inflationary as a whole, as such the general economic wisdom is that raising the minimum wage counter-intuitive hurts the people you are most trying to help. however, studies show there is a kinda sweet spot for raising the minimum wage-- if wages increase just enough, everybody wins and you want see noteworthy general inflation. however, what is the chances this government gets the number right? @ShadySandshas, on more than one occasion, observed how medical debt is the primary cause o' US bankruptcies. after obamacare, employers turned fulltime jobs into multiple part time jobs and slowed wage increases in part to pay (not pay) for healthcare. obamacare has helped millions o' people, but pretending as if healthcare is no longer a problem for anybody who is at least trying to find a job is wrong. poverty and healtcare in the US is inextricable linked. am gonna suggest you cannot fix US poverty w/o fixing healthcare, and that is a big ask. childcare? *groan* would need a very long post to describe the problem in part 'cause some o' the solutions run counter to other solutions. US women with children disproportionate need good part-time jobs 'cause they cannot work full time or at the least they aren't gonna be able to take advantage o' jobs with traditional hours. no (or no meaningful) sick leave for a large % o' lower paying jobs is also a surprising big problem that unlike the rest o' the problems listed has an ez fix, but good luck with that. housing costs... am only scratching the surface o' the problem... US poverty is not what most americans believe it to be, so many o' the suggested solutions is also gonna be fails. HA! Good Fun! ps am habitual socratic method so am often forgetting to state the obvious: because american poverty is so difficult to solve, but also largely transitory, snap is an ideal government response in spite o' fox news perpetuating a boomer welfare queen narrative. snap is highly targeted and reactive. people is able to access and then decouple from the snap program quick. there is indeed a free rider problem, but it is not as large as many boomers believe it to be. snap does not and cannot fix poverty, but it has been an overwhelming success.

Iβm trying to get the order and auntie Cleo to work together. I spoke to Ruth first and she agreed to work together. I am now trying to talk to Auntie Cleo by talking with the heads of aunties choice but the only option I get is to work with them. Specifically stopping a strike. Do I have to compete the strike quest in order for them to set up a meeting with Auntie? Or is this a huge bug?

I'm finding it sometimes difficult and sometimes time consuming to select a fast travel spot because the reticle is prioritizing a nearby quest or workbench or something else that is remotely close to the fast travel circle on the map. Can we turn it off? To my knowledge, i can't fast travel to a workbench. I'm not sure why i would want the reticle to select one. Thanks.

PVB_UK started following Xbox controller (PC) button issue

Am using a wired (USB) Xbox controller to my PC. Game Pass version of the game, fully updated. Finding it difficult using the Back button to open the main in-game menu. (menu with map, inventory, etc.) If I press it quickly, nothing happens. If I press/hold it for a fraction (e.g. 1/4) of a second, the menu sometimes opens. Sometimes not. If I press/hold it for more than about half a second, it swaps view between first and third person views. Not sure if itβs a bug and it should open to the menu on a brief press or not?

Watched ep1 of the new Witcher season. It is... actually good. Looks like the backlash from the last season was so terrible that they actually got their **** together. It's a shame that Henry Cavill isn't there anymore, but Liam Hemsworth is not bad. They even remade some of the earlier scenes for flashbacks with him. Can't say how true to the books it is now, because I barely remember anything of it, but yeah... I didn't hate that episode and will watch more for now. -
I Had the same problem, was able to load to where I pulled the wrong levers in the room next to where he was making the explosive. I Exhausted all his dialogue, ran back to Zeb and eventually he started to follow me. and then when I walked through to the next room it magically worked one time. Idk if it was dumb luck or i did something different.

I started playing BG3 about a week ago. I'm using a lot of mods, though all of them from among those available through the built-in mod manager. The most important mod being the one that gets me a 6-character party. As I had expected, the game is okay but not amazing the way everyone likes to gush over it. It's definitely not worthy of all those 98, 99, 100 review scores it was given, calling into question the credibility of those reviewers. Among the things that I dislike are a horrible inventory system and hotbar system, poory designed UIs across the board, moving and organizing the party as a group being a huge pain in the ass, most containers in the environment being empty (and not getting clearly marked as such even after you check them), and all NPCs can be interracted with even though many dont have anything meaningful to say. Your own dialog options during conversations are often many and yet the range of different options is very limited, meaning many of the options are merely minor variations on saying the same thing. Combat is also, as expected, rather tedious, but I can live with it from having a party of six and using low difficulty settings. But it is rather ridiculous the extent to which characters miss their attacks. I've gone through multiple rounds of combat where every single one of my six characters missed on their attack. But I'll grant this is a huge flaw of DnD and not the game per se (and why I love PoE mechanics so very much more). Where the game does shine is in beautiful environments, and very nice character animations and cutscenes. The story is also good so far. More to come.

I agree it also limits everything no more enemies means no more loot, no more loot means no more bits, no more crafting resources, no more ammo, granted you would need to be very reckless with your weapons to run out completely and be able to acquire more but the fact that it's a possibility that somewhere down the line you might have to rely entirely on melee weapons when you might not be built for.

Easily Distracted flaw bugged
Nyyo replied to Psychofagos's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Same here, at level 19 on PS5, the bonus of the flaw stoped working and I only got 2 point instead of 3. That's, let's say, a bit annoying. Is there a way to fix that ? -

Quest: Tristan Companion Quest: Listening for a clue Issue: Tristan isnt spawning back on the incognito for Debrief on the Incognito objective after doing the Oculus Collating Post. System: Xbox/PC Severity: Quest is completely blocked off from finishing and making further progress with him. Other details: Its not noted in the quest log but i went the path of talking tristan down from killing the guy on the Oculus Collating Post. I remember it prompted me to talk to him a couple times on the OCP. When the quest is active and you follow the marker it just points you to the engine room ladder on the ship but theres nothing there.

Hello, as of today, I just leveled up and picked a perk which allows me to overcharge the inhaler by keeping the inhaler key pressed down, and get various bonuses and more intoxication in the process. Problem is, playing with a french keyboard, I had to remap the key bindings, especially the inhaler key from Z to W. I also had to remap the forward key from W to Z. Now, whenever I hold Z to move forward (which is, all the time) my character takes an overcharged shot of inhaler. It seems that the key binding for the inhaler overcharge is "hard-bound" to Z no matter what the key is set for default inhaler. I hope you get to fix this somewhat particular and small issue in the next hotfix. Cheers! (On a sidenote, there seems to be all sorts of issues with how the game saves the settings. Switching the .exe to administrator mode didn't help fix this problem : whenever I reopen the game, settings get reset back to default and I have to change everything again : key mappings, graphical settings etc.)
