N-Ray Range Power Switch Bug
MisterB replied to AdamRacks's topic in The Outer Worlds 2: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
I have to say im frustrated that this wasnt fixed in the new Patch. Its a complete gamestopping Bug. There ist no way to continue the Story or anything really because i cant enter the damm n ray range. This needs to be high priority. Sorry i Just Had to vent my Feelings on this. I know Obsidian ist working hard to solve all the Problems including this one. But it really sucks that i cant Play this Game i really liked until this point. So once more, please upvote the Bug on the Issue tracker -

I prefer first person combat because its easier for me , most of the LoreRim videos I have seen around combat are third person but I am generally comfortable with the whole game being in first person and its more immersive. I would have to consciously learn third person combat if I want to change to that because combat in Requiem is much harder and Im much more competent in first person The alternative starts are amazing, you have all these options like shipwreck, beggar or werewolf\vampire but I selected Inn start because it gives you a safe starting point where I also have crafting tables. But as I mentioned the greatest strength with LoreRim is the absolute and deep RP in this massive world Because I havent initiated the main quest its like nothing I have ever experienced and I can do anything I want

I lose interest in any article that has in the start " Zelensky and its puppet masters forcing Ukraine to fight " Its not like Russia invaded Ukraine which is the reason Ukraine is fighting a war. And the obvious reality is the many examples in history that include Serbia, Poland, Afghanistan and the USSR where people fight back against an invasion. You dont need to be " forced" to fight when you invaded, its common to find that response And of course the author suggests " the only solution is for Ukraine to immediately negotiate a peace deal " Translation : " Give Russia everything it wants " because thats the ONLY solution Let me guess, this is an objective analysis of the war and how to end it

Hello everyone! I am having an issue where I have started the Crash Course in Telemetry mission and Persephone Doyle is no where to be seen for me to pursue the optional objective. She is not behind the bar and she is nowhere to be found in or around Caffeintegration Point. I have not spoken to her before, I've seen that she is related to another mission but I have not done that mission. I have seen online elsewhere that I am not the only one with this issue. Any help would be great! Either that or maybe it can be fixed in a patch.

The patch notes from today's patch specifically mention fixing the issue in this quest near the end when you have to talk to Ruth. However, the quest is still bugged. At least on the Xbox version. Still have no way to talk to Ruth about this quest and her dialogue trees always end up with her tasking me to steal something from Aunty's Choice and it makes me "shoot on sight" with that faction.

I'm having issues where I can't debrief with Tristan to complete the Casting off the Veil companion quest. When I set it as the active quest, the little head symbol displays over Tristan but all I can do is select the generic repeatable dialogue options. Is anyone else experiencing this bug and has anyone found a workaround for it?

When i replayed the original starcraft, I was surprised how many missions were just "destroy all enemy bases". Then trying to search everywhere for the final pylon. I tried to beat warcraft 2 campaign and I literally can't. There was an island level where most of the combat is ship related. Can't count how many tries I took to win, couldn't do it

That's a bit overstated- Pokrovsk hasn't been a major logistics hub for over a year now, same as Bakhmut before it as soon as the Russians got close it stopped being used for transit anyway; and at the moment Ukraine still has plenty of strategic depth (practically, alternative supply routes). While it is amusing watching every place Russia take suddenly become strategically insignificant there is an element of truth to it along with the copium. Otherwise, exactly the same mistakes repeated again, Ukraine really has not learnt when to call it quits and keeps pulling troops out of stable areas (making them unstable) to prop up areas they have to all practical purposes already lost. That's how Pokrovsk came into play in the first place; and is how Huliapole is coming into play now.

I think that's a fairly complex computational problem, may be misremembering. Some day I'll go back and get good at that game, I beat SC2 on hard except the LOTV epilogue missions - the misison where you have to fight alongside Raynor and Artanis' force is bull**** as the AI allies are useless. Got myself caught up in Dispatch, finale is tomorrow.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It's just a bigger and more polished version of Clair Obscure: Expedition 34. *ba dumm tis* If you don't get the joke with 34, then you just haven't played the game yet. Go and fix that. Unless you're @Bartimaeus and are very likely to be creeped out the by character looks. Not sure what I can or want to add to the discussion at the moment, other than to join in with the superlatives. Outside of the same-y and "feels generated by AI, but art direction clearly says it they were crafted deliberately" hallway-shooter style levels, it is easily game of the decade material. Well, if one just ignores the mini-games found in the beach areas. If you're not like me and can let go of an achievement (and, uh, don't really want the swimsuit outfits for your characters anyway), just don't bother. Given the small team that made the game, the problems with the level designs can easily be forgiven. The minigames though, dunno, really. Someone tested those and left them in. The other things in the game that almost drove me mad are very much my own fault. It's not the game's fault that I spent almost twenty hours going through areas I very clearly wasn't supposed to be yet, just because it is possible with the combat system. Also not the game's fault that the areas of the final part of the game that weren't designed for super high level parties are pretty lackluster with an overpowered party. I mean, after all, you're not really supposed to grind levels from the mid 20ies to the early 80ies in Frozen Hearts - especially not before finding the limit break pictos.
