The biggest issue with Leonard being MVp is that SA always does good. It is never because of one player. It is the whole team, the coach, and the entire system so to give him MVP? Nah.

Yeah, it's always hard to make a case for a Spurs player because everyone on that team buys into Pop's plan and they all play team-first and don't care about individual glory, which is why they always get a top 3 seed and why Pop is arguably the greatest NBA coach ever.  Still, Kawhi is freakin' amazing, I guess I just want the guy to get some individual attention.  At least we're on the same page about Harden.  What The Beard did this year has been remarkable.

It really is a rotten stroke of luck for the Grizz to be matched up against the Spurs.Nonetheless I'll be watching tonight

Curry hasn't been the best or most impressive player in the league, but he's been the most effective and impactful for his team.

Curry's shooting numbers are only merely great this season, but couple that with the gravity he has on the court and that equals a +/- of over 1000 this year -- by far the highest in the league (nearly +200 more than the nearest player, and over +500 more than LeBron, and +600 over Kawhi and Harden.)

The MVP should go to the most impactful player on the best team. If not him, then the most impactful player on the next best team. Neither Harden, Westbrook, or LeBron's teams qualify. Curry has been the biggest difference maker on by far the best team, and when he's on the court, he makes the team much better. Period.

Looks like Fizdale wants to make a significant tax-deductible donation through the NBA Charities program.

...then again, when your team identity is proudly announced as GRIT 'N GRIND in contrast to the finesse direction of the rest of the league -- playing in the iconoclastic Pat Riley 90's Knicks style is probably gonna have a few whistles called against you.

Fines are tax deductible? The problem with Grit n Grind is they are not doing it. They were beaten like a drum for the first two quarters, giving us 9-0, 11-0, runs to the f-----g Spurs (that's what I'm calling them from now on). you can't give away 20 points with no answer in an NBA playoff game. Yeah there were fouls that should have been called but the f-----g spurs were shooting at will in the first half and by the time the Grizz got going it was too much of a hill to climb.

You know I have to say, the air seems a bit fresher this morning. The sun seems a little brighter, the coffee tastes a little better. You know why? Because last night Mike Conley stood tall, put his team on his back and showed the f-----g Spurs who's boss!

On to game 4!
