Glitch in Cragholdt

I am unable to access Concelhaut door as I did not receive the Pelden letter and it is nowhere in my inventory I killed all the apprentices to make sure I wasnt missing something alas no letter and absolutely cannot move forward with this wonderful game. Help would be appreciated.

Ran around your save for a minute and you have the note in your Inventory....... It is in your Quest Tab in your Stash. If you right click it and read it, it will tell you how to get past the door.

To clarify it is the Pelden note that is missing I have the other notes.
