Do I really have to check in every day to receive daily gold?

I bought the 30 days of gold option.  Since my game is stuck in a state of limbo, I haven't been logging on every day to receive my gold, since there's nothing else for me to do.  Do I really need to log in every day and click the button?  I missed a day but still only got 200 gold (I should have received 400 for two days?)  Since the game has been broken for me, I've only received two days worth of gold, so I've missed something like four days worth now?

Have you tried to remove the party and make a new party using experienced characters? Or making completely new party...

 

I don't have opinion about dayly gold. For me it is like prepaid time period in games like World of Warcraft. If you don't play in some day, you lose that day. But in this case because you have stuck because the game bug, the thing is somewhat more muddy. PM some game developer and ask their opinion.

I'm talking about the 30 days of gold purchased in the Store.  if you go to the Store, tap on Gold at the bottom, the first option is 30 days old gold.  What I'm saying is that if you miss a day, you don't get that gold.  But I have no incentive to log in every day because I can't play the game.

One thing that can happen is that the game save file gets corrupted. One way around it, is making a new croup using same characters. You just have to remove that old croup first. So that you can again play the game.

 

Yes I know that dayly gold thing. It is not suitable to me because sometimes it can take a couple of weeks untill I play the game so I always personally avoid that kind of deals in every game.

 

I just wanted to be sure that you know what possible options there Are to keep on playing the game even one croup save has been corrupted.

Yeah, it kinda sucks, but the requirement for getting 6000 gold for $2 is that you log in every day. Otherwise you should just buy the $5 or $10 option.

 

Additionally you can just beat the first scenario on legendary then keep replaying it, you can net ~230 gold in 30 minutes. Do this 22 times and you have enough for a treasure chest.

The point of the daily gold option is to get you to log in every day (it's a pretty common tactic in F2P games to get you to log in every day via gifts etc so you get enticed by offers)

I see a countdown timer there, and at least once it was lit up in yellow and when I clicked on it I got +200 gold.

 

It seems kind of strange to have to actively click on it - most other games just give you the login rewards as soon as you launch the app.

So yes, you need to log on every day to get your gold.

 

*But* if your game is stuck in limbo, there are solutions. The simplest one is to uninstall the game and reinstall it. You'll keep all your gold and purchases, but lose all your story and character progress, so you can start afresh. The only thing that is unplayable right now is quest mode, for story mode you can get your game unstuck.

Thanks all for the info.  I did not realize when I bought it that I had to log in every day.  I don't play a lot of free to play games so was unaware that this is normal.  I just figured that you got 30 days of gold, regardless of whether you launched the game.

 

Now I know.  And knowing is half the battle!
