Something is brewing?

Well obviously "Obsidian Entertainment" is becoming "Obsidian Entertainment and Fine Craft Brewery".

Because...something is brewing.

Thank you, thank you...I'll be here all week. Be sure to tip your waitress on the way out.

I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

So it was that rumored card-game Pillars tie-in.

Looks like fun. Not much of a cards guy, but I may back it at a later date.

When in doubt, blame the elves.

I have always hated the word "censorship", I prefer seeing it as just removing content that isn't suitable or is considered offensive

Was already announced back in april for those who follow scott.

Fergus Urquhart had announced it pretty publicly in an interview with PC Gamer. Guess it just slipped most people's minds. (Though I was hoping for news of the expansion, but I'm guessing they're leaving that for when it's closer to release.)

Aye, Feargus mentioned it earlier. Still nice to see that they got their funding immediately. Tempted to back it, but not sure if my imaginary or actual friends are into such card games.

E3 is coming up, might get some news there.

I guess the new Kickstarter update means that the (first) PoE expansion is going to be announced June 17th. :)

Yes, the $165k stretch goal is a mystery. We can tell you that it will be more cards. What kind of cards? We can’t tell you until Obsidian makes an announcement for Pillars of Eternity the video game on June 17th. Let the speculation begin!

No mind to think. No will to break. No voice to cry suffering.

mispost

Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!

The words freedom and liberty, are diminishing the true meaning of the abstract concept they try to explain. The true nature of freedom is such, that the human mind is unable to comprehend it, so we make a cage and name it freedom in order to give a tangible meaning to what we dont understand, just as our ancestors made gods like Thor or Zeus to explain thunder.

What? You thought it was a quote from some well known wise guy from the past?

Stupidity leads to willful ignorance - willful ignorance leads to hope - hope leads to sex - and that is how a new generation of fools is born!

We are hardcore role players... When we go to bed with a girl, we roll a D20 to see if we hit the target and a D6 to see how much penetration damage we did.

Typical game journalism, don't worry about it. It's Ubisoft.

Wonder why...

Because Ubisoft generally uses internal studios and inherited sp: tsot with Obsidian from THQ when they went bust. It's about as surprising as Assassin's Creed: Iteration being made by an internal Ubisoft studio.
