I believe McIntosh also holds the view that media cannot properly critique violence if it contains violence itself.I have never seen someone spew so many words so devoid of meaning. 1 When in doubt, blame the elves. I think the idea is that it's a femenist movie because of the fact that Furiosa is ostensibly the main character, and the entire end goal for the movie is to attain independence for the badguys... breeders(?) Didn't translate to feminist(of the 3rd wave bourgeois variety at any rate) to me, but I saw the film for the action and was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the actors.
