While at THQ, my focus had been on the North American launch of the latest from THQs best-selling franchise, WWE, which had been in a decline since 2007. With the launch of WWE 12 on Nov-22, this title has been the most pre-ordered WWE game of all time with sales up +39% year/year. My energies were then focused on bringing South Park: The Game and Metro: Last Light to market.

As the Director of Production I manage all console, handheld and mobile products related to the franchises I oversee. I act as the primary production and development contact for the developers, contractors, licensors and THQ internal and external partners. I manage an internal group of personnel that direct the product development and also assist internal departments like sales, marketing, PR, finance, legal, community, quality assurance and localization with their needs and product strategies.

As the Creative Director I work closely with internal and external development teams to provide design guidance and feedback. I am responsible for ensuring that the project's quality meets THQ Core Games standards and for representing the projects creative essence to all internal and external partners.

I'm not a lead programmer right now.
Nor am I working with unreal (C++, yes).

Is it just me or have they cut half the article? I remember opening it earlier and reading something about a Q&A and communication relationships between artists and programmers being not good (contextless, so it wasn't clear if it was a comment on Obsidian's work environment, the industry in general, or what else). Did I imagine that?
