...having visions of cars doing the "miniature mushroom cloud" thing when crashing and their fusion cells ruptures... Since actual Tokamak reactors are huge, this wouldn't happen. Further, fusion materials are not actually explosive, so would actually happen (if somebody miniaturized a Tokamak and stuck it in a car) would be the car melting as the heat escapes. You need to watch more Hollywood movies, everybody knows that cars explode violently half a second before impact BEFORE impact? -------------------- |

Of course, they are impatient buggers. They also like blowing up from collisions bigger than rabid rabbit strikes on bumpers.

I think it's tremendous. Makes you proud to be human. Can a giraffe make a ****ing star? I think not. There's no limit to what humanity can do when they put their mind to it. Me and a guy at work had a theory that God is just humanity from the future that had advanced its technology to the point where they could travel time and manipulate matter with their mind, etc. -------------------- ![]() My DVD Collection So, the next time someone tells you how nerdy they are, ask them this question: with what weapon did Megatron kill Optimus Prime? If they have no answer, punch them in the face and say "You're no nerd, just a **** with a broken nose." |

Do you think if a team of nuclear scientists came up with cold fusion they'd get super rich, like be the Bill Gates story of the 21st century?
